Al jaren rijdt hij trouw heen en weer vanuit Apeldoorn in zijn kleine Fiat. We hebben al vaak geprobeerd hem naar het mooie Amersfoort te krijgen. Maar zoals een echte Spanjaard betaamt: een beetje eigenwijs is hij wel. Als het om wijn gaat, houdt hij van fruitige rode wijnen met een vleugje zoet eiken. Hij staat altijd klaar om te helpen en vindt het nooit erg om een tandje extra bij te zetten. Een terras ombouwen, even bijspringen waar nodig of een lange avond draaien. Jai doet het met plezier. Gewoon een fijne collega waar je op kunt rekenen. Toch maakt hij voor Zuster Margaux altijd graag tijd vrij. Zeker als er een feestje is. Hij kan als geen ander meters maken op het terras en houdt van een volle zaak met goede sfeer. Van Tijn gaan we nog veel horen. Al moeten we toegeven: zijn favoriete drankje is eigenlijk bier.
